VAT Increase in Ecuador

In line with the new regulations in Ecuador, which came into effect on April 1^st 2024, the Value Added Tax (VAT) has changed from 12% to 15%. This increase of 3% applies to the VAT payable on imported goods and to all destination related services such as custom brokerage, airport/port charges, certification services, local deliveries, etc.
