Sanne Muijsers – Thissen is a seasoned logistics and international trade professional with over 20 years of experience in the industry.

Born and raised in Venray (NL), her educational background in business administration laid a solid foundation for her career in the logistics industry.  Sanne developed an early interest in world trade, and the complexities of cross border transactions in the global supply chain.

After 11 years in other logistic related companies, Sanne joined IOR Global in 2015 and has led the Europe / Middle East / Africa office for the past 9 years.

Career

Sanne began her career in logistics shortly after completing her education, quickly gaining expertise in various aspects of the field. Her early roles involved managing shipping operations, coordinating with suppliers, and ensuring compliance with international trade regulations.

Over the years, Sanne has focussed on international trade / compliance, developing a strong knowledge of the complexities of cross border trade in the EMEA region and beyond. She has worked with several multinational companies, where she played a crucial role in streamlining operations and enhancing efficiency.

She now has over 9 years’ experience focussed on the niche and complex field of IOR, assisting large and small multinationals increase their global coverage, by managing the complexities that are inherent in global trade.

Within the IOR Global group, Sanne is recognised for her attention to detail and strength in process design and implementation.
