From January 2017 Verónica Treachi took over as Managing Director of IOR Global. Verónica has been in the company for over 7 years, previously, working as Regional Director for the Americas region and later as Global Business Development Director. She has a degree in Communications & Public Relations and a postgraduate title in Supply Chain Management.
She has 24 years of working experience and a vast knowledge of international trade, transportation (air, sea and multimodal), customs regulations and operations, which she has gained over the years working mostly for multinational logistics and freight forwarding companies. Veronica has a strong background in customer relationship management.
Prior to joining IOR Global, Verónica was founder and managing director of AT Capital Trading, an international trading company specializing in Latin American commerce, customs, and logistics. With offices in 4 countries, AT Capital Trading served companies looking to enter and develop their presence in Latin American markets. As she built that into a strong and vital company, she considered the potential that lay in partnership with related companies, and accepted the challenge of developing the Americas Region for IOR Global.
Over the course of her career, Verónica has worked with a wide variety of industries including high-tech, pharmaceuticals, automotive, perishable goods, alcoholic beverages, clothing and heavy equipment (mining, fire fighting, drilling).
Verónica is known for her strong and open leadership as well as strategic planning skills. An active member of her professional community, and a frequent speaker at industry events, she has delivered numerous presentations on logistics and project management around Latin-America. Verónica is bilingual in Spanish & English, and also speaks French.
Outgoing and professional, she has travelled extensively across the globe, and has lived in Argentina and Peru. She currently resides in Chile.
